It was raining when I woke up at 7 o&rsquo;clock and continued to rain, on and off, until about 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Caoimh&iacute;n, Tony and I took the opportunity to go to Chris&rsquo;s house to sort out the finds from the fieldwalking exercise in Stapleton&rsquo;s Field last year. Chris had the impression that a lot of irrelevant material (stone, mostly) was collected. As it turned out, most collections of material were of genuine archaeological interest (even those containing twentieth-century material are of interest).
